Our Story

We're developers who kept running into the same problem: needing to compress files quickly without jumping through hoops. Sometimes it was for a website project, other times just trying to save space on our computers. Every time, we'd spend way too long looking for a tool that actually worked the way we needed it to.

Most of what we found was either way too complicated, wanted us to download something, or was covered in ads. We got tired of it. So we built our own version that does exactly what it's supposed to do, nothing more, nothing less.

This isn't some big business venture or startup idea. We just wanted something that worked well, and figured other people probably did too. If you're here reading this, you probably know what we mean.

We built this around a few basic ideas:

• Your privacy matters – Everything runs in your browser. Your files never touch our servers.
• Keep it simple – No confusing menus or features you'll never use. Just the basics done right.
• Make it reliable – We actually use this ourselves, so we fix things when they break.

Why This Exists

Honestly? Because we needed it. And if we needed it, chances are other people do too. Whether you're working on a website, handling some files for work, or just trying to free up space on your computer, we wanted to make that process a bit less annoying.
